A Brand New Day

I'm looking forward to figuring out how this whole blogging thing works.  I'm hoping my Advanced Technology class can lead me gently into the future of libraries, so I can then bring my patrons with me!  I have a lot to learn, so here we go. The library world is constantly changing and growing, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity to do the same.

I currently work in the public library setting with children and teens.  I interact with patrons of all ages, though, and with varying technological abilities. Mostly the familiarity with technology just isn't there, so I'm dealing with basic stuff, mostly. I would love to get a little ahead in the game, though, so I can be ready for anything.
